Hello I need help figuring out how the drivers door harness works with the door module and window switch and door locks and memory seats. Does it require the window switch for anything to work?
Thank you

Does what require the window switch for what to work? Are you asking if disconnecting the window switch will cause the locks and memory buttons to stop working?

I’m wanting to put a premium door harness in my base car I have the door modules and the harnesses and the lock and memory seats button and just need the different window switch because they are different
I have it all hooked up but nothing works so I’m wondering if it’s due to not having a window switch hooked up the plug is the 3 pin needed for the switch

I've never done this so I don't know for sure but it may not be just plug and play. Are you already using Forscan to make sure the new modules are talking correctly?

I had everything connected but the window switch and nothing would work so I'm wondering if the window switch is required to power the module and the door locks along with memory seats

Are you using the same model year hanresses and other parts? Sometimes there were changes mid model years with harnesses or part wire pinouts…. If there is 1 minor pinout change, it can cause an issue if trying to use it in another vehicle where that pin doesn’t match to what it is supposed to match.

Power comes through the BCM through various fuses.
Have you considered getting a FSM with wiring diagrams? It might help you get it sorted.

I think I found a wiring diagram would any one be able to confirm that all the power comes from the window switch?
