Yesterday I put my 2020 GT on the dyno (Dynojet).

Before I did the following mods, I dyno'd the car, completely stock, on 91 octane. It made 401 hp to the tire.

Then I decided to do a FBO mod package:

Stainless Power Headers
Steeda H Pipe
Comp Cams 433430 Stage 2 Cams
Ported CJ Intake with VMP Twin 69 TB
PMAS CAI
Lund e85R Tune

The car made 494 hp and 418 tq.

I'm not sure if I should be happy with these numbers. I've seen a few video and posts showing power in the 520ish range with this combo.

Thoughts and ideas from the experts here?

Never chase dyno numbers, too many variables…run the 1/4 and check your trap speed if you really wanna know.

you got what, 23% more power to the ground? enjoy it man!

I've heard and read on here and other forums that lund tunes are garbage. I would try another tuner.

he's out of Wisconsin so not far from you. I haven't dynoed my explorer ST, but with just a tune from him and a whipple intercooler my 5200 lb ST ran a 12.52@109. Stock it ran 13.7's

nice! What year ST? We had three of them over the years and moved on before the latest update.

93 rear wheel from bolt-ons with cams and E85? I'd say that's pretty dang good.

As others said, don't look at the final numbers but more so the gains. That could be a stingy dyno, and I think it is as most people get a bit more than 401 stock. So on another dyno you could easily hit 520, but the overall gains would still be the same at ~90.

I get it. I see Lund getting love and hate everywhere. I have to say their customer service has been a fantastic experience on this build. I know others are capable as well. Thanks for the info, I will check them out.

I should have mentioned, that 12.52 was with my heavy 22" wheels and 285-40-22's all around and a D/A of 1372'

Seems odd that it falls flat at 6500. If you are thinking of another tuner, give Wengerd an email.

That's the stock tune with no mods. The blue is after the mods

93 more HP is a lot more power.

What others claim, is just that. What others claim.

I don't understand why your original dyno-pull was stopped at 6500RPM
