Hey guys, just wondering what you guys think of velocity blue because that's the color of my Mustang. I have a 2019 Mustang GT m6 and I just don't like the color anymore. I don't wanna get it wrapped or repainted. Do you guys think I should buy a new one or just keep it.

Maybe look at different wheels. A different color or style may make you like it more. If you haven’t, go to the photo threads and look at other blues for guidance. I like the color more with the black roof and black wheels.

Getting rid of it just doesn’t make sense to me with depreciation.

Get rid of it. Someone would scoop it up.

I got rid of my first 2018 GT because I wasn't happy with Shadow Black even after four months.

Got a similar 2018 GT in Ruby Red, and I love it.

Do it. You only live once, and it makes no sense to pay for a car that you don't love.

Color means a lot to me, if you could swap without a large loss then I’d do it but if it’s a massive depreciation and a massive hit for another car

Keep it, try new wheels.

Maybe get stripes vinyls or something to spice it up

If my grabber blue was totaled today out of the current colors I would get velocity myaelf

I personally don't like Velocity Blue at all. Too light for me. Reminds me when I test-drove a Mazdaspeed3 years ago and all they seemed to come in at the time was red, black or a girly light blue. Not for me.

To me the other question is are you happy with the options on your car. If you're also kicking yourself for not getting a certain option then there's your answer.

I made a purchase mistake in 2010 and lost money trading in a few months old new car. It happens. To me a car is to add to my daily happiness.

exactly what I was thinking. I think the color is too light.

Your cost to repaint or wrap isn't going to be cheap so I'd just trade. There's a velocity blue PP2 that's marked down about $6k nearby and I'd like to have a PP2 but absolutely not in that color. I think it looks okay, I just wouldn't want to see it in my garage every day. I'm not sure how to really make sense of that last statement but that's how I feel.

That last statement makes perfect sense to me. I feel that way about Grabber Blue and Orange Fury.

I enjoy seeing those colors on other Mustangs, but I think they'd be too much for me to live with every day.

Everyone is different-- what one person is totally in love with, another may hate. I had a Ruby Red '15 that I liked (not loved), although many get a raging boner over it. I just got a Velocity Blue '19 a few months ago and can't stop staring at it. Love the Kona Blue as well. As has been said, if YOU don't like it, and can afford to do something about it, do it. Now. Life's too short.

If you can handle/afford the hit on depreciation go for it. There's always someone like me out there looking for a nearly new car at a steeply discounted price. Since I bought my first car in '70 I've bought exactly 2 new, and kept each 10+ years.
I got my year old ('18 bought in July '19) Race Red convertible at what amounted to half new sticker price.

I wanted Guard on my 15' EB but could not find one. It was to late to special order. Then I was waiting to see if the Bullitt was going to come with the A10. Nope, so now I decide to get a 19' GT and started looking for Orange Fury. Found a car but it was already sold. Then when to Velocity Blue. Found a car but is was wrecked on the dealer lot. So started looking again and found the California Special. I've like these cars since the first one in 1968. Found exactly what I wanted in Oxford White. Now, I cannot stop looking at it.

Sometimes you find the color, sometimes it finds you. A car is the second largest investment most people make in their lifetimes. It's too short to be unhappy. Time to move it and get what you really want.

Color is a very personal choice. I went back and forth a little between my VB & an Orange Fury which looked great too. I was afraid I would tire of the orange but who knows. I still love my VB choice especially with the black accent package which I found for my tastes worked well together even though I wouldn't have thought blue & black would go well on a car.........

Colour is a very personal thing and so are finances. If you don't like it that strongly and can take the hit on the depreciation, do it, because walking out to the car and thinking about that colour you don't like will get very wearing. Personally, I like the colour. When I was looking for my car, I started out with either Ruby Red or Lightning Blue. I ended up with the Royal Crimson because my sales guy had one coming into stock and there weren't any cars equipped as I wanted in the other two colours in the entire province. I wasn't sure about it because it looked so crappy on the website, but I found a coupe locally to look at and really liked it, and here we are. It makes me very happy to walk out to the car. You should be happy too.
