Caliper paint color ideas

I have run Red for decades, tired of it now. Show me (us) your different colors. Black cars are desired, but all will be helpful.

My Porsche has Yellow calipers, I like them better than red.
My Mustang still has plain calipers, but the cost to paint them is crazy.

Black calipers on a black car is the only way to go, anything else looks aftermarket/modded. I'm a functional idiot, and I was easily able to paint mine in an afternoon. Will be doing black on the Eruption Green GT when it arrives as well.

I Think yellow calipers are perfect on a black car. but here are a couple of my R.C. with copper

I guess for me since colored calipers basically exist because of the Brembo thing they should all be red.

Apologies if real Brembos come in something other than red-I’ve never seen any others.

For a solid black car w/black rims, these caliper colors will pop, if that is what you’re after:

Green, Orange, Purple, Silver, any “Grabber” colors (blue, etc), paints with metallic flake or flip flop paints.

I recently saw a black GT350 with matte black stripes and bright green pin stripes. The calipers matched the pin stripes. It looked great.

Hmmmm, some very creative ideas here. I may simply go with black or silver to stay on the discrete side. I prefer to brush the paint on... any tips other than masking off?

Wonder if all those colors come as OEM items on various cars? I’ve never seen any but red as OEM on new cars.

They come in all sorts of colors. It really depends on the car.

Take the calipers off and remove the rotors then reinstall the caliper back into position without the pads and rotor. Clean them with soap and water really well, allow to dry and have at it.

Same thought, one thing for sure, Red might not be a good choice for all body colors. Picture a yellow car with red calipers.... Ronald McDonald!
