My paint chipped :(

I have seen a few posts on facebook and online that the pain chips between bumper and fender. It happened to me today when I was washing the car :(

I think I will use paint pen to try and fix it a bit.

My PP2 has the same thing. It's super minor right now but it's all to blame on poor panel fitment from Ford.

Awesome link, i have seen this stuff used before. have a chip in the very nose of the hood. this place is real close by too. wonder if they allow you to pick up there? will call Monday morning.

I feel like the paint on these 19's chips ridiculously easy, I don't know if I'm imagining that but I already have three pretty annoying paint chips. My previous '13 daily driven mustang did not have any paint problems and here is my beautiful babied Bullitt with 2000 miles and it has three chips already lol thought chipping the paint was supposed to be harder than that. I also have ceramic coating on it. I got a paint pen from my Ford dealer and will apply to match, dealer actually offered to re-paint for free but I would much rather have original paint with a couple imperfections than screw it up in a paint shop.

I have a spot in teh same place. I also had a lady open a door into me and chip my door right on the crease in the center of my driver door!

i like Pizzy had a slight mishap. had the hood repainted and not one day later a BB size chip right on the hood lip. arghhhhhh

I have the EXACT spot of missing paint. I'm wondering if applying touch up paint will even fix it... or will it eventually rub there and chip again? What do you think is causing it? The other corners are just as snug but no chipped paint there... so there must be a root cause of this.

Is it because the fitment is too snug that caused rubbing or contact or not snug enough where the fender and bumper meet at the corner.... Anyone have any input?

What do you guys think is the actual root cause of this? I have the same chip in the same exact spot in the rear, and one also in the front bumper/fender corner... but the other corners are fine.

Is it too snug or not snug enough to each other that is causing the chip?

I feel like touch up painting the spot will just get chipped off again soon after...
