Alright dumb question I get it lol 285's it is. 285/255 in my opinion is the perfect staggered fit for mustangs
I actually had a Discount Tire rep tell me 295's would fit and not cause issues at all, he showed me on the computer the color coordination of sizes, red is where it would rub or mess...
Im looking to get 295’s on my rear I’d like something a little thicker than the stock 275’s. Just wondering if anybody had a pic of what they looked like on their car I am mainly concerned if there is a slight bulge or if they look stock just wider.
I also don’t drag race it, 40rolls and 70mph pulls are badass too it’s okay to make power higher up. And cold start on an 800hp V8 is pure bliss. It’s the little things lol
Sound and raw power lol Chente04 is correct I don't plan on tracking it just cruising around town and occasionally letting a burnout rip. My justification in my head is the new GT500 is $100k+. My Bullitt is paid off. For $10k I can have an animal. And I 100% agree it is more power than I can...
Appreciate the input. I hadn’t thought about changing gears, I did on my old mustang that was N/A but I thought longer gears would be better for supercharged? ProCharger sounds interesting too, a ProCharger Mach 1 would be a beast
I am very tempted to do a Whipple Stage 2 on the Bullitt, what is everybody's thoughts? At first I was not going to mod Bullitt at all but when I saw I could get it to 800hp with $10k and still have that crackling rev matching 6-speed and sleeper look I am real tempted. Has anybody supercharged...
This. Ever since I saw the 2013 boss laguna seca rear seat delete with x brace, I don’t understand why it can’t be recreated for the S550. It looks so clean.
Anybody done a rear seat delete on their bullitt? I was staring at mine today and those seats are completely useless, I would prefer just open space. My favorite was the 2013 boss laguna seca x-brace rear seat delete. I don’t think there’s anything like that for the S550 (correct me if I’m...
Hmm this is interesting; in sport mode I feel it is rough but in normal I think it’s pretty smooth lol my previous two cars I modded them to hell so I guess my standards were kinda low but still
Mine’s aged like fine wine. I honestly like it more than I did from day one. After the first month or two I was regretting I didn’t just spring for a GT350. After borrowing a friend’s Gt350 and ringing it out some (as badass as the GT350 is) I honestly was glad to be back in the bullitt, I...
As other have mentioned I feel the paint chips ridiculously easy...
I got ceramic coated immediately after getting it and babied it garage kept (daily driver duty nonetheless, only in city never on highway)
And I have like 4 pretty weird and significant paint chips in weird spots.
I also...
I've seen one or two in my city/area but not very often. I guess that's pretty rare now that I think about it.
I think a lot of them were sent away because there were a few sitting for a while at my local dealership.
Part of me likes the "gentleman's mustang" appeal with no badges, no stripes...
That's a solid point. Hell I would be interested in that. I loved the 2013 Boss, could not afford one at the time. I sat in a Laguna Seca with rear seat delete/crossbar, suede Recaro seats and the red key and it made me feel some type of way.
Eh not really - same power, no shaker hood, some stripe/graphic package that I've never liked. Only huge difference I think is the Tremec transmission correct? As others have said I've had no problems with the MT-82 transmission. If they bumped power up to 500hp, did a N/A 5.2 crossplane engine...
Nice, you definitely lucked out on the Bullitt. The GT PP1 will be worth nothing in 2 years time, the Bullitt is not tremendously holding it's value since they won't stop making them but they will retain their value better than a regular GT. Solid options package and the green is awesome, subtle...
Second. Looking forward to seeing how it looks in your trunk. If it's good enough quality I would probably try out on pony lights as like I said I find the ponies pretty lame.
Looks great, I think I'm gonna get these for my Bullitt. I like the style of the stocks but want to go wider tires. Also them being lighter and possibly performing/feeling better is a good incentive too.
No rubbing issues with the 315's out back?
Break-in period for mine was extremely tedious!
Yeah good point - I'm actually in the minority that don't really like the digital dash. It gives the illusion of everything being customizable but is really pretty limited, and involves a bunch of prompts to press ok. And then the big ugly black...
