I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but one of the most annoying things about the Premium toggle switches is they only toggle up. You have to cycle through each setting to get to the one you want. You can't go in both directions.

If someone can figure out how to fix that, they could make a killing selling to the Premium car owners.

That would definitely require some programming

You really need to get someone lined up to manufacture these, like soon. Too many of us want this to happen for you to have some rapid prototype parts in your car that we'll never be able to have!

That would require a lot of work... Not saying it can't be done but it would likely involve programming and toggle switch mechanical modifications.

I know... I got to get a working prototype in car before I can really market this off... Any suggestions on possible companies?

UPR is my first thought. I wouldn't think these would be sold in volumes high enough to justify the cost of plastic, but maybe billet aluminum would work?

I would be worried about two things making them out of aluminum. The first is weight/mass. I am not sure that the toggle will function properly because of the increased weight of each part. (I could be wrong here but it would have to be tested) The second issue with the toggle being completely out of aluminum is that there would be no backlight function for the symbols. Some might not see that as an issue but it is still something to consider. I am also not entirely sure that machining each part out of 6061 aluminum would be cheaper then injection molding but as you said, that would depend on sales and demand.
