Did some "exploring" today. I now have all accurate dimensions of the OEM button mechanism! Now time to start the real work...

Final exterior toggle design printed using my desktop printer!

Please note this will not be the final quality. This print was only to get a sense of the size and design in the real world vs a CAD rendering.

I didn't realize that the panel for the buttons was a separate panel, which is nice since it will be easier to just make a small replacement panel to accommodate the toggle switches instead of hacking apart the existing one or something along those lines.

I'd personally prefer red color to the factory blue. Imagine this is able to be changed easily though.

Couldn't you just get the type of switch that the premium models have instead of making the cam system? Our toggles only can go in one direction, so all it is is a different type of switch and not something stupid complicated, I'm also making some prototype parts at the moment, I'll be releasing something for production fairly shortly that I think will be a big hit

I am not exactly sure I follow. The first thought was to just swap the premium toggles over. The size is not correct (4 toggles vs 3 buttons in the same space) so an adapter would have been needed. The problem I think is that the toggles on the premium are actual switches soldered to the board. No swapping would be possible if this is true. It also would require buying a $430 dollar panel for 3 switches.

Any details on your products you can share?

I did it! Made my "cam" system and it works! (At least in CAD) I will have a video up tonight. From the calculations I have made, toggle switch travel will be about 8mm from bottom to top. What do you guys think about this? Would this be to much travel? The video will show the travel distance.
