Awesome, sounds great btw!Straight through
I'd like to know this too.I may do this. You should ask your muffler shop the model number of that magnaflow!
I looked at the Gibson. Along with a bunch others so I might be getting them mixed up in my head but isn't the Gibson a chambered muffler? I guess I could look it back up myself.I'm thinking I might try this Gibson muffler - 55189S
I think starting with a 3 inch inlet is important if you want to later upgrade the DP. With the stock DP you can use a reducer and later have it modified for the larger DP.
EDIT: That one is $127 on Amazon with free prime shipping.
Looks like a perforated x-pipe inside a chamber. Wonder how much back pressure that would create. I was mostly interested because I want to try something besides a straight through tube, we know how those sound. This is the description from their website:
"They feature a Chambered and louvered straight-through core"
Sounds like "chambered and louvered" is their description of a perforated tube.
It would create some back pressure but certainly not as much as the stock exhaust. Personally I would try it! We need some different exhaust designs to see how they sound.Looks like a perforated x-pipe inside a chamber. Wonder how much back pressure that would create. http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/universalmuffler.aspI have no idea about the part number guys. It's a generic magniflow, I will call in a few and get the number
I'd be down with that
It's 3/1 @ noon. Here: 3400 US Highway 98 North, Lakeland, FL 33809Let me know when the Lakeland meet happens as well. I don't mind road tripping, and we have a few EB owners here in Jax that might want to cruise down as well.
Excellent...I'm off that weekend, and hopefully (knock on wood) will have a few goodies on the ol school bus..lol. I'm planning on being in the Kissimmee area on that Saturday for a Lightning gathering at Old Towne. It's 3/1 @ noon. Here: 3400 US Highway 98 North, Lakeland, FL 33809
