Mustang wheels question

Hey I used to have a 2014 mustang V6. I bought some performance pack wheels off a friend and used my 2014 TPMS on them. No issues.

My question is I just got a 2018 GT.

The dealer said I can swap my wheels straight. Or 180$ with new TPMS.

If I directly get my wheels swapped from the 14 to the 18 with the same TPMS from 14, will it work? Or will have my tire light be on?

Why don't you try it, and tell us what happens? I'll go out on a limb and suggest your TPMS idiot light will be on.

There switched. So far. No light. But only driven 20 miles
