I like the idea of the ST, but I agree that this isn't what I'd want it to look like. Way too much copy paste from the Focus. It would be cool if it said ST in the GT font on the back rather than borrow the font from the focus. I like the idea of a center exhaust, but it needs to have its own look for the mustang. Again, no copy and paste. I like the idea of a unique grill to set it apart. Something similar to the GT, but a little different. That would be cool.

I dont think a separate version is necessary. Just add additional power and the items listed to the PP and instead of 2k make it what? $3500-4k? and be done with it. And like 1320 said maybe not 400 but 350hp/375TQ

I wouldn't do it that way.

I'd go with the PP as a current option/pricing and then add another option on top of that which would be the ST option. The ST would include everything in the PP option + additional ST options.

- EB
- EB with PP option (current pricing + tad more HP)
- EB with ST option (PP + ST pricing additional, includes brembos, race exhaust, + more HP then PP and race tune, etc)

You need to keep the PP as it's own option because Europe is getting that as their base setup (which also tells you that they feel Europe demands more feel out of their cars then here), which means that Ford definitely feels that the PP is a driving experience upgrade where the ST would bar non be more of a race type upgrade.

Bad idea on Ford's part to do this. They already have a "high performance" model called the GT. It would be a huge disservice to the owners of those cars to release anything remotely close to the GT with a smaller displacement.

Why would it be a disservice to GT owners? Do you think the current EB is a disservice to older GT owners, hell even the V6 to previous GT owners. Cars evolve and so do the way people think about them. GT owners will always have the way a V8 engine sounds.

I admit it, I like the wing, could be a tad lower, but I have always liked pedestal mount rear spoilers.

I keep saying they could just swipe one off a '69 Boss 302 and it would look perfect. And I'm waiting for the window louvers, LOL.

I think the idea is valid. A racier EB just like the GT350 will be a racier V8. As a GT owner I wouldn't be threatened. Even if it's faster (and with 350-375 HP it wouldn't be) it's a very different car. Lighter, nimbler probably, but still sounds like a 4-cylinder. I can see that's a good idea, and still want to keep my car. Seems like a very different market.
