this is a mustang my dude. you're going to have blind spots on all sports/muscle cars but the mustang is the nicest. The blind spot mirrors are very nice imo just glance at them and glance back and you're good :p

BLIS might help, but they buried that safety option in $6k of Premium / luxury, and I am mainly just wanting a strong V8, manual gearbox, and good visibility to enjoy the power with confidence.
BLIS is with the 401A and is worth every penny of the 1200 or so they want; not 6k.

He wants a base. So getting Blis would cost him an extra ~$5,700 MSRP.

BLIS is such a nice feature on the Mustangs, it makes changing lanes MUCH easier. The cross traffic is super nice too, especially if you back out of a driveway or parking spots often. I've had Mustangs without this feature but they do make life easier. I wish they had front sensors, the front of the Mustang is long and dips down, sometimes it's tough to judge distance when pulling into spots.

You need to try the mirrors on an SN95, or a Fox, LOL. These mirrors, especially the base mirrors (no BLIS) with the spot mirrors, are great and you can actually see out of the car itself. Best Mustang ever in that respect.

Aren't the euro mirrors bigger? Could always swap if you wanted larger ones

You need to try the mirrors on an SN95, or a Fox
Or the mirrors on a 2013-ish Dodge Dart, if you want to find out how utterly useless exterior mirrors can be made if the mfr tries hard enough.

They are larger to meet regulations there. As a long time professional driver myself I can understand where the OP is coming from, I also find the mirrors on the small side, they do look appropriate on the car though.

Don't let a little thing like this deter you from buying one of these cars, there's always a way to fix/improve what you find inadequate on a car.

The OP shouldn't order any until he gets measurements. I think I recall a post in the UK forum that said the EU ones were taller but not wider. I'm assuming the OP wants wider.

Never had any issue seeing out of my mirrors. As was mentioned above, just position them for the best angle. I thought our mirrors seemed pretty small at first too when I was first looking at buying my car. But I can honestly say that once I got behind the wheel, I never did once think to myself "I wish I could see out of these damn things better!" They do alright by me, I wouldn't let it affect your decision to buy this car.

Our mirrors are still large enough to be shoved back in that folded closed position when a pair of assholes in your complex shove their fat asses through the 1.5 foot gap you left between the wall and your car to avoid assholes like them in the first place. I had the pleasure of catching that act red-handed last night while I was letting my dog out to take a shit.

I also found the little spotter mirrors a lot better than BLIS. I much rather believe what I'm seeing with my own eyes, than a computer.
I have BLIS but wouldn't if it was a stand-alone option. If you adjust the mirrors correctly, you don't need BLIS or the convex stick on mirrors the non-BLIS cars get. So actually, BLIS turned out to be a good thing because it eliminates the spotter mirrors which I really hate.
