Mustang 2step mpt tune

So all the guys that have the mpt tune did you guys get a 2step with a tune? Cause I have the 93prx tune from them and my v6 has 2step now even when I don't press the clutch in. Did you guys ask for it or did it just come with it?

I have a v6 manual with Flowmaster outlaws, flowmaster xpipe, and airraid cold air intake with the mpt 93prs tune

How? When I uploaded the tune the Rev limit was set to 7k. And even when the cars not in gear it 2steps at 4500. And having the clutch in still does the same

all you do is adjust the neutral rev limit....its a option in the X4 before you upload the tune. its not a "real" 2 step, just acts like one. it will kick in anytime the car is stopped, regardless if the car is in gear or not. I have mine set at 3400, which is great for launching, but makes it impossible to do a burnout..im probably just gunna put it back up to 7k so it never hits it.

Will it do this with automatic as well? Love the sound of the 2 step/rev limiter but mine doesn't bounce like that. Just ordered my tunes today so should have them soon

I have it set to 7k before I uploaded it. I contacted mpt and they do actually put on a 2step. They are sending me a revision without the 2 step

Yes. From what I heard from them yesterday when I called they get rid of the Rev limiter but they do add a 2step to the tune unless otherwise specified so it'll be doing it around 4500rpm

Just put it at 7k. But don't hoon too much

How does it work exactly? You're sitting in 1st with clutch down and it just keeps the revs at 3400 until you release the clutch? Using this example, what if I shift at 6800 will it drop down to 3400 or act normal? I'm just trying to wrap my head around this.

its only working when the car is stopped. as soon as the car is moving, it no longer takes effect. so when you shift, its just like normal
