G’day gents, I need some expert input please!

I have a 2017 GT manual with the FR3 Track Handling Pack, FP strut brace, 19” PP1 wheels, Michelin PS4 255/275. I’m a daily driver with the the occasional road racetrack adventure (not drag racing).

I’m still concerned about rear suspension movement, the odd thud noise from the rear when coming out of a corner, general setup quality, drive ability etc. I’d like to know that I have the suspension well setup with quality components.

I’ve read about all sorts of lockout and bushing kits, bumpsteer etc, all things that frankly sound amazing but I have no idea about whether they are really needed, specific only to drag racing, or just bragging-list items.
What do you suggest? Thanks!

along with choice shocks and springs, i would get irs bushing inserts with the steeda RR IRS brace, rr camber and toe arms, a front sway bar and k member brace. possibly diff bushings but the only option that doesnt eventually fail is aluminum, which is crazy NVH

I have the exact same setup. That clunk in the rear may be the sway bar? Lateral Locks will stop that from shifting around. White line sells them they are fairly cheap. The earlier kits didn't have a notch in the sway bar.

Love this setup and dont plan on upgrading anymore it's perfect for me.

Thanks for the tip on the rear sway bar, I've already had the front one come loose.

Looks like it's only for the front sway bar. What did you mount on the rear sway bar?

Ah nvm it's the front my mistake. Didn't mount anything. Dont have any issues with noise in the rear. The car drives perfect.

After going very deep into the rabbit hole, I'd say the rear LCA bearings are the most underrated mod for suspension. They utterly transform how the car changes directions and grips on power. Rides better too.

The Steeda bumpsteer / roll center correction kit was the last piece of the puzzle for me; a must for a lowered car.
There is different version of the kit though the general is: MPN: 555-4915 But there is also the more expensive option which Bumpsteer kit (555-8133) + STEEDA S550 MUSTANG FRONT CONTROL ARMS (LATERAL AND TENSION LINKS KIT) (555-4909) So my question is is the 555-4915 enough or do I need the Lateral and tension links kit with bearings (555-4909) ?

What you think and most importantly what you have on your car ?

Much more important to get the lateral arms with roll center correction and the bumpsteer kit than the tension arms. Those are also good and useful, but nothing like the effect of the roll center correction.

In other words the 555-4915 which is roll center+bumpsteer kit should be enough ?
