That is how I got mine. I need a good stereo though not used as much to hear the car more than my tunes =].

I have always wanted Recaro seats so I got those, to me well worth it to have a sport driving experience. I left out the back camera and sensors. Hate the dimples in the bumper and I can back up fairly well so far. I left out navigation this time (got it for my 2014), at least you have the screen and I heard on other Ford's you can buy and upgrade with a usb from Ford. But for a couple hundred you can get a nice GPS unit and use when you need it.

I got my car fairly simple. Optioned out GT with sport seats and Performance Pack; can't wait!

Yeah the backup camera is standard but the sensors that warn you if about an object behind you is optional.

Performance package, GT premium, sports cars deserve manual transmission, 401a.... gotta have good sound and to those that it matters most, enhanced security package

Performance Package, Manual transmission, heated & cooled leather seats, and anything but the base radio.

I'm really glad to hear the backup camera is standard. It comes in the cheapie subaru outback wagons I get as a courtesy loan when I take my other car in for repair, it dang well should be standard on a premium mustang. I thought it was cheezy at first, but I used it once on my father-in-law's lexus SUV and was instantly hooked. I already back down the driveway with side mirrors only, so this will be nice.

And daaaaaaammmn, am I the only one who thinks the base radio is atrocious? It looks like they stole the design from a late 80s beemer. Could it have any more buttons? The only thing that made it slightly less horrifying is that it has a full color LCD (as I saw in one pic). So the GT Premium was the logical choice

Back Up Cameras will be Required By Law to be Standard Equipment on All Cars Built and Sold in the US by May 1st 2018.

I totally missed that! I have to go back and check the order guide. But even just the camera would be great to have, happy accident. Thanks for the info.

That might or might not be the case but in terms of functionality I'll take ten thousand plastic radio buttons that work and respond when you press them over LCD touch screens with sub menu after sub menu of non responsive buttons. Anything that takes several clicks to do on LCD that can be done by pushing one physical button on a car radio is a fail IMO.

For how cheap it is how can you not get the Enhance Security Package? Best feature is the electronic locking center console. Just one of many, nav is a must too with MFT IMO...

I agree that the styling of the buttons for the base radio could be better.

FWIW, the base radio is essentially the same package found in my DD '13 Focus SE - function buttons on one side of the color LCD display and a numeric keypad for phone dialing on the other. It doesn't look nearly as nice as the MFT radio setup, but it is fully functional and works very well.
