One mod I still wish for...a way to lock/default/whatever the exhaust valve in the open position for (cold) engine start. I know there are plugs to keep them open, but I don't want to completely give up the feature. Even if some of the drive modes would just remain in the last commanded position (like sport mode) instead of defaulting to normal, even that would do the trick.

...and I'm really trying to hold out on the Gorilla lugs and wait on 50Deep's next batch of titanium lugs.

There is something that exists that allows you to choose the state of the exhaust. You use a remote to select the mode. I believe it is mentioned in one of the threads taking about the noise restrictions at Laguna Seca.

This is what you're talking about, I've been highly considering this for my next mod:
https://www.awe-tuning.com/switchpath-exhaust-remote

Explained in this thread:
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2267117

It seems like a much better solution than these modules because you can control it from inside the car rather than physically plugging/unplugging the device:
http://www.grimmspeed.com/exhaust-valve-defeat-module/

With the AWE Tuning remote, you install it once and you're set.

Awesome...thanks dude! I jumped over in that other thread. That's a neat little mod for this purpose. But I do still wish there was a way that you could make the car remain in the last drive mode selected; that too would resolve the exhaust bit without any add-on parts. Even though that answers the exhaust question, there's still selections to be made. Oh well...kinda like doing a pre-flight again with all the switch flipping, so there's some merit to it. (not a complaint...just thinking out loud)

I'm with you there. What I can't understand for the life of me is why Ford only did half the job on that. I have noticed that if you have the car in "normal" mode and adjust the steering mode (I haven't checked this with the suspension mode) to comfort for example, swap then to sport mode, shut the car off and turn it back on without going back to normal mode, the car will still be in comfort steering when it starts back up and defaults back to normal mode. So the ability for the car to remember certain settings is definitely there, it was just never built upon.

Same here man. I’ve noticed mine remembers some modes. Like normal, with comfort steering it remembers each time. But not sport or track. Weird.

I gotta try those. For some reason I haven't noticed mine remembering any modes.

I've had bad experience with EBC pads (red) years ago. I'll never use them again. I wouldn't put worse performing low dust pads on anything but a street-only driven car, there aren't any good performing low dust pads out there.

I drive my car in the street and the track. I swap pads and wheels for the track, not a major undertaking. The ceramics, I haven't done empirical testing, but they don't seem to show any degradation on the street. I've been running them for nearly a year now. Your suggestion seems valid if one were to take the same pads out to the track. Otherwise, I really enjoy having no-dust pads for the street.

I'll shorten my previous comment:

"I wouldn't put worse performing low dust pads on anything but a street-only driven car"

If there's a point you are trying to make, you should make it objective then. Your assertion to "there aren't any good performing low dust pads out there" is not substantiated objectively.

From an opinion standpoint, the ceramic pads I installed perform just as well as the OEM ferodos on the street. Back it up empirically or just surrender to opinions and not act as if you are speaking fact.

Do the ceramics eat the rotor quicker than stock like pads?
