I like what you’re doing. I tote tools in mine all the time, that don’t have anything to do with repairing the car. it seems I’m regularly somewhere and able to help someone with something. For Day to Day the extra weight doesn’t impact anything for me.

Thanks for that! My knife clip shredded the rear door of my old F250 getting in and out. I’ve been cautious of body panels but certainly not the steering wheel.
