Whipple or a VMP Odin will do the job. I have my eyes on an Odin
Agreed, both are really nice. I’m using the Whipple 3.0 on my 1059 WHP Camaro and can telll you it’s far from tapped out at that level. And the Odin uses the Maggie 2650 rotor pack which has made 1500 WHP too.

Whipple are very nice of course but in my mind I wouldn’t want to deal with the heat soak, twins are just something else high risk high reward type of thing ig.
New Whipple does not heat soak. The intercooler brick is massive.

I’m most likely going to get top mounts just because I wouldn’t want to run into any clearance issues and scarp the turbos/oil lines!

I wish I was able to get hood dumps without the police down here worrying about it but once I’m in texas I will most definitely!

would you have any suggestions,I’m currently in the state of saving up money for twins but I am restricted to doing crazy modifications because of the cops but my plan was to do exhaust works to become content for now but not spending money on a catback right now then finding out I can’t use it with my twins

thank you for explaining it a little more simpler
I just moved from The state of Kansas almost 2 years ago. I ran LTHs and a resonator delete with x-pipe for a year with no trouble from the police. Sounds like things have changed since then.

Could you dump them out the sides of the front bumper and install electric cutouts with intermediate pipes going into really quiet mufflers with turndowns for cruising around town?

I was going to say I hadn’t heard of heatsoaking on the whipple. I know the roush kit does for sure. That brick is huge

Yeah I purposely watched the IATs during the dyno runs and even spinning the blower faster than Whipple’s max recommended speed caused zero heat soak. We literally hot lapped dyno pulls and recorded identical power runs. It was unreal to watch. Back when I had the 2.9 Whipple spun to the moon it would gain nearly 30 degrees during a dyno pull…and that was with a 6 gallon ice tank in the trunk…! 🤣. The 2.9 to 3.0 is literally apples to oranges.
