I had no reason to expect any issues until I started browsing these forums
Mistake #1

and found that people bashed it and called it a piece of crap. So, naturally, I got worried and thought I'd investigate a bit. :)
They call it crap cause they don't know how to proper use the MT82.
Like:

~ No lift shifts without the no lift feature - then they grind it into gear the continue to try to force it into gear. That's a great way to destroy a M22 super rock crusher as well as most other manual trans. There's a reason why there a 'slick shift' mod.

~ They try to shift as fast as possible and throw it in between the gates - also not good.

~ they screwed the clutch due to their driving habits.

~ They dump the clutch and stay in that wheel hop to impress their friends.

Not saying the MT82 is perfect, but the vast majority of problems stems from the bag of water between the steering wheel & drivers seat.

Zero problems with mine.

I installed the Energy Suspension kit # 4.1141G shortly after taking delivery of the car. I have zero complaints with the transmission including a handful of redline shifts through the gears.

Have 2015 GT PP with MT-82 completely stock. Looked up this topic to find best mods to prepare the trans for the stage 3 Hellion twin turbo & E85 going in about 6 weeks from now over at Palm beach dyno.
For now I have the following list of parts to help the shifting:
-McLeod RXT twin disc 1200 hp clutch
-Barton two post shifter bracket
-Barton hybrid 3 with the brushed pull up collar.
-Whiteline Transmission mount bushing insert

Any feedback on these trans shift supporting parts from you all?

There will be alot of suspension mods also but that's a different topic.

Won't be launching it on the track just highway pulls for now.

It's AMAZING what can be learned on this forum. Not having a pictular problem with the shifter, I''ll begin there.

I do want to have a better or more positive, firmer feel when shifting.

Was looking & leaning toward the Blow Fish bracket.
Do not need or want a short throw, like the throw as it is.

Well I'll be damn, I find this thread, and low and behold . I read Energy Suspension, and well aquatinted with their products. Never thought to look at them.

Thank You Mustang Forum, placed an order with Summit. The suspension parts, motor/trans mounts, have always been top tier.

Sweet ! :champagne: :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Not writing regarding a problem, it's strictly a personal preference.
