I can understand they get frustrated, but if Ford hasn't declared what they're absolutely gonna get then they are on the same boat ride as all of us. Maybe they are trying to get Ford to tell a preliminary allocation so they can forecast their profit margin based upon ADM adjustments???
I agree 100%

I'll wait till fall but if it isn't any clearer then I'll move on from this car and do something different. I really like the mustang but just can't play these games.

Not bitter at all, just the way the world works I guess.

Too bad the GT won't come in Avalanche Grey :)

Ford has told the dealership I work at the exact # we are allocated. I'm sure it is the same for everyone.

You don’t want to know
They are frustrated because Ford keeps changing things on them.
Nothing has changed in the allocation system for 2015-2016 since it was announced to dealers at the end of April/beginning of May. What hasn't been announced is how many cars over and above the number in the originally stated 2016 allocations may be built, if any. And 2017 remains a mystery.

My local dealer supposedly has an allocation on an R. He says it is the only R allocation in the region. Asking for a 12K ADM.
so somewhere in Kansas...

Called three today, they all pretty much said the same thing. Although I know one of them is lying because one of the sales managers told me a week before he sold a 2015 for 80k and today they said they didn't get a 2015. I have no faith or trust in any dealer, they are all full of it. If you want to be lied to just visit a car dealer...ha ha ha

I know you guys try to help and it is appreciated but not a chance I pay ADM for one.

Doesn't matter, I'll either find one in the fall or not and move on for a year or two and wait it out, no biggie. Maybe just get a GT, buy a used m3 or cayman and wait it out. I'm patient. :)

just build as many as you can take orders for and quit screwing around.

Well, the $1000 buy in got dealers at least 1 allocation for 2016 and 1 for 2017.

Ill sell my 16 r for 80k when I get it if someone wants it. May see something else on the radar to buy. Not sure.
I'm not sure how to reply to a post like that. Why not give up the position and let someone who really wants an R a chance.

Than I lose my deposit. You don't really need to reply unless you are interested

Not much . It is a little over what I paid but really nothing.
You haven't paid anything yet... Why you even wanna post such is mindless. How bout just posting it in the classifieds and leave the forums alone with soliciting for a car you don't even have possession of.
