Hmm, if I may ask what are their rates like for a full year? Might have to look into them as well
My '70 convertible is only $3xx a year, so it's very reasonable for some vehicles. I'm sure the GT350 will be more, especially because you will want to drive it more.

I will be selling my spot in line early next week on Craigslist but you can only contact the dealer by carrier pigeon and I'll be asking for a $31337 finders fee. But I'll give that finder's fee to your favorite charity so you can get the tax write-off.

Drats, I released my last carrier pigeon back in 03, I just have a single carrier owl I procured from the harry potter movie set. I was looking to buy a 2nd GT350 to sell in Europe

Funny you mention a 2nd GT350, I'm only selling my spot in line because I also have the spot in line right in front of that spot in line. I'll see if the dealer will accept carrier owl messaging.

No problem. I wanted to insure for roughly $74K (just in case), and it would be $800 for the year with a zero deductible, or $650 with a $1000 deductible.

Hope that helps!

That's correct. I have a 2015 on order, and the ETA is between August 12 and August 18. The build date is set to commence July 22nd - less than two weeks away! :ford:

That is actually pretty awesome, not much more than what I pay today for my GT and that thing is worth 25k if I am lucky

My scheduled build date is the day before yours so our VIN's and build sequence numbers cannot be very far apart so that is pretty cool?

Since you are a lot closer to Flat Rock (~280 miles) than I am your car will not be shipped out on rail like mine therefore I suggest that you will probably take delivery prior to me?

Having said that how did you determine an ETA of August 12th to 18th?

If you are correct that is outstanding and will be driving this tremendous car prior to the Labor Day weekend!

Simply brilliant. I think I need a new keyboard. I got juice all over it from laughing.

Thanks! I called my dealer and Ford Performance, and both said the same range for the ETA. :D

My local dealer supposedly has an allocation on an R. He says it is the only R allocation in the region. Asking for a 12K ADM.

Was at a ford dealer locally in the last day or so. While another dealer told me they got a GT350 and sold it for 80k the folks I talked to said no dealer in the Denver area got one for 2015.

Now what he did tell me also is that he has a decent number of allocations for 2016 and they are taking deposits but he really doesn't know how many because ford just told them that the number of cars built for 2016 May not be what was originally stated, less is the word. I do trust this dealer since I know a few folks there and they know I would never buy one with and ADM, we were just shooting the shit. But he said the whole thing is a complete cluster.

They also said for 2016 that they are talking a 10k ADM but have not decided yet, it won't be more than that though. However they have traditionally never charged an ADM ever so they are not sure yet what they will do. Basically if I want one I can expect an ADM for 2016 or may be even 2017 and I'm not sure I'll wait until then, I'll buy something else.

This dealer typically gets the most allocations for specialty cars of any dealer in colorado, I there is some truth to that.

They are frustrated because Ford keeps changing things on them.

I can understand they get frustrated, but if Ford hasn't declared what they're absolutely gonna get then they are on the same boat ride as all of us. Maybe they are trying to get Ford to tell a preliminary allocation so they can forecast their profit margin based upon ADM adjustments???
