Of course. People are in incredible self denial that there is a huge demand even for a $50-60k Mustang.Anyhow they said when the official ordering guide came out they received 200 phone calls in two days and 120 emails. Crazy!
Figure 5,000 cars that means each state gets 100 as an average- obviously some get way more than 100 and some way less (Alaska, the Dakotas, Delaware etc t under 1 million people).
Sure, 150-200 cars in the state sounds like a lot but then look up how many people live in each state- there are 8 states with over 10 million people each. That 100 cars (even say if its one of the top 5 populations and gets 150-200 in the state) is a drop in the bucket when you're talking 20-30 million people (almost 40 million in CA).
The know it alls here is are hardcore denial that there will be any sitting on lots if they keep production at 5,000 as Ford corporate stated.
