MRT replacement hood struts

My MRT hood struts are losing their lift. Replacement struts from MRT are $80 + shipping. Does anyone know of a less expensive strut that will work?

It seems to have been cold weather related. Since it's warmed up a bit, the struts are working again. I still think they're not as strong as they once were since I don't remember having problems in cold weather before. At any rate, I found a replacement strut on Amazon if I need it.
