I read the installation instructions and it is very easy. The catch can is the number one add on for me and then I'll check out the struts. MRT does offer a lifetime warranty vs 4 or 5 year from Redline and MRT is cheaper. I did read that Redline has a low price guarantee but thats not reflected in their regular pricing. I'll see how this all works out before making a decision.Wow...Dad must have convinced you to learn the "wrenches!" Lol.....No metal drilling. I see someone left you a link for install. It's EASY my bro. Also...instructions...very detailed are available on the Red Line web page.
I've owned these...own them now....trust me.
Also...that battery location is the same on my '14 GT. They just decided...for whatever reason to put a cover over it...albeit....a cheap plastic one...but, mine has....nothing covering it....as most cars don't. IF...you are so anal....about restoring to stock...buy a new cover!! Can't be much $$. But, why would you really?? Leave the struts on when you trade or sell. Cheap enough to get new ones...IF you get another Mustang...and besides...they may not be the same part # next time anyway.
Your brother is always here to look out after you...since I am older! lol....
Besides...Dad did tell me that you tend to bust a lot of knuckles when you "wrench on your stuff!"......
A couple things... I'm 66 and retired. Are you sure you're my older brother?
I also spent a number of years in car sales and owned a small dealership for a few years. Now, what was that about "trust me"?
Honestly, thanks for your feedback, I really do appreciate it. Personal experience is always valuable.
