I'll admit, it's a nit pick issue, but it is noticeable to those who know about the issue.
First of all, damn you car looks awesome!

Second, I want you to try something. When you open the hood, you will see two rubber bumpstops one on each side of the radiator shroud area. These are attached just like a screw. Turn counterclockwise and it raises the rubber. Turn clockwise and it puts it lower. These are used to adjust how high the hood sits against the fenders. Since your hood is sitting quite high already, turn the rubber bumpstops clockwise by around 3 to 4 turns. See if it lowers and aligns with the fenders and front bumper.

Thanks, man.

I've tried that already, the struts are physically holding the hood up. I grew up around a large Mech/Body shop, so being familiar with aligning panels, it was the first thing I tried.

I wasn't too worried about, and I'm still not. It's just one of those nit pick things.

All of you saying that the hood prop is just fine for you must not do any work on your own cars under the hood. If you did you would know how much of a PITA it is to work under the hood with a hood prop. You are pretty much guaranteed at some point to knock the prop out and drop the hood on your head. For this safety reason alone hood struts are worth the $100 and an hour of work.
I bought a piece of rubber tubing to slide over my prop rod snugly on the hood end. I only used a couple of inches. Now, when I prop the hood, you can NOT shake it loose since the tubing just fits inside the hole in the hood. I'll get the info off of the package when I get home and update. Looks OEM if anyone didn't know better. Just cost a few bucks, and I'm confident it would be safe at a car show.

Update: I used 5/16" I.D. radiator overflow tubing. It measures approx 7/16" O.D.

You're right, I never looked that close at it. It is raised up a bit

It funny this is the 1st I noticed this post. And Ya, I have the same issue. Many hours were spent re-aligning the hood trying to get the gap just right. I am satisfied for now.

I bought mine around March also. This was before the newer design. To me the new design looks to be like the Redlines on the upper brackets.
And yes when at car shows. You can for sure see which hoods lift higher.

For me they looks like a earlier year mustang design and was not clearly tested before selling to the public.

Maybe that's how MRT rolls with the rest of their products. For the future I will stay clear of their products. I am happy other companys are finally releasing the rear window louvers. Almost thought MRT would be the only options.

That's exactly what I am talking about and MRT told me that's "normal." Yet I've seen MULTIPLE cars in person with Redlines, as has Pinero, and now I have Redlines, and they sit as flush as stock was. The only complaint I have is the misalignment of my hood from factory, other than that the Redlines are far and above better than the MRT's.

Put my MRTs on this past weekend and have somewhat the same issue. The driver's side is fine but on the passenger side, the hood is up ever so slightly (1-2 mm maybe) right in the middle where the strut attaches. Down by the grill it's fine though. Not extremely happy but can live with it.
