I still like the interior of the Mustang better, I guess I'm just jaded because I can't stand the Camaro because of the horrid visibility you get when you sit in it. :) But then again I prefer the stripped out interiors of cars like the Ferrari Scuderia and Challenge Stradale over the F430 or 360 interiors.

My wife comments regularly about how comfortable the GT350 seats are and how good of a ride it provides in comfort mode on the highway, it would be hard to trade that away in favor of the Camaro also.

Top pic is hideous....was actually pricing ZL1s until I saw interior pics. Did not love the Z06 interior either but it isnt as awful as the Camaro. Cars have to sing to me on all fronts...if there is 1 or 2 things I cant stand about a particular model I pass.

But then again I can get hung up on things a lot of people wouldnt even consider...like the ugly prop plane propeller A/C vents and their terrible placement in the Camaro. Or the archaic software in the Nissan 370Z NISMO I looked at. The only thing about my R that I even slightly dislike is how far you have to reach to roll down the windows....but I dont roll down the windows so not really a factor.

Looking at the pic I prefer the simpler passenger side of the Camaro and the more clean center stack, but that the Mustangs is more narrow. The Camaros's large Air vents ruin that for me, they don't seem to fit the rest of the interior. On the other hand the far left and right vents of the Mustang look like simply an upgraded design on the ones from my 1991 Taurus. I prefer the smaller shifter surround of the Mustang. The gauges on the Camaro look closer together which could make them easier to harder to read depending on the person. The Camaro wheel looks smaller, and more beefy, the buttons also look to be grouped with more space so it may make it harder to mis-click on something.

Both have their pros and cons.

I would also have to say that the upgraded Mustang center stack looks better than the one on my Track Pack, which has the smaller screen and myriad of buttons.

Yeah, but from a functionality perspective I find the physical buttons refreshing. I was initially annoyed that I couldn’t get the touch screen with my 2016 track pack, but now I am very happy with the cheapo radio. Although I still wish I had the toggle switches.

I agree on the toggles.... I do wish I had toggles for the exhaust, but much like my Boss 302, the radio harldy gets used and I could never justify the 3k to upfit with navigation and satellite radio. Perhaps someday I'll upgrade mostly to have the clean look of the large screen. The small base screen is a little cheezy with a million buttons on either side of it...but it does the job and being able to connect the phone to it is enough for me

True...but otoh Camaro owners will never have to worry about their shift hand getting too warm :lol::lol:

I prefer the mustangs interior, for some reason it does not bother me that much. The camero has a lot more toys but I think it looks preschool.
