Hey Fellas -

Scrapped up the front wheel of my R today. Sliding along a curb. Freak snow storm. Started ripping home from work but a little to late.

These wheels fixable? Haha. :headbang:

Hope you're joking :eyebulge:

Carbon wheels can't be resurfaced or fixed like an aluminum wheel. If it is damaged structurally, you'll have to pony up nearly $5K for a replacement. If not structurally damaged, you're looking at having an ugly wheel :(

Not joking man...the little bit of driving I had to do was tremendous though. Had to reverse down the mountain in the opposite lane while staring at someones face through my windshield and cars passing me on the way up.

Got ugly real quick. Could have been a lot worse...I also could have not been an asshat and just left it downtown.

Thats a very very tough one, they are super hard to touch and condition.

Damn, you gave her a good bit of rash there. Borrow the wife's black nail polish and touch it up. Will at least take away the eye sore until you pull the trigger on a replacement :)

I'm not sure but looks like it's just cosmetic? The one spoke is hard to see because it's also dirty. Wash it up and take another pic.
