Been running MPT PRX89-87 this winter, switched to PRX91 two months ago. Running mostly 92 but sometimes 93 octane when i find it. I would have to go back to stock to really feel a difference in hp/torque. Interesting thing is i am getting 1mpg better than when on PRX89-87. Definitely been worth it.

First post on this site. I've lurked on here for a while but I just registered today.

I've clocked just over 41k miles on my 2015 3.7 & figured it was past time to give her some upgrades.

I ordered the SCT X4 & 3 MPT tunes on the 21st & got the programmer today in the mail!

I've already sent in the tune form; I'm hoping I get the tunes emailed to me soon.

I'm going with the 93 PR-X as my main tune, and the 87-89 PR-X & 93 PR-X Stock Trans as back up tunes.

I'll give my impressions of the 93 PR-X tune asap.

Looking forward to your impressions, have you done anything to the car yet or 100% stock?

100% stock. I did upload the canned SCT 93 tune & have to say I'm impressed with it. Low end part throttle acceleration has been improved noticeably.

According to SCT their 93 tune gains around 27 TQ & 12 HP... I believe it with the way the car feels after uploading the tune.

Hi, I have a canned SCT 93 and love it, if you have a auto trans program it to +25% with your SCT 93 tune and see how well it shifts and high RPM's.

Yea I have an auto. Today is my day off so might as well go try it out real quick!

I'll report back after i've driven it with the +25%.

uploaded with +25% on all gears. It definitely up-shifts & down-shifts a bit smoother, especially from 2-3.

I only drove 10 miles, so I think my ecu is still in the re-learn process. I say this b/c the throttle response feels a tad off from before. There's not a loss of power or anything & the engine is running fine; the throttle just feels a bit off.

Just drove a few miles with the PRX 93. The shifts are way more smooth in sport mode; Especially the 2-3 down-shift! The up-shift for the 2-3 comes noticeably sooner now. Definitely an improvement.

I'm going to put a lot more miles on the PRX 93 tune before i say anything else.

I read a couple threads of guy's with auto and installed MPT and didn't like the way they had the shifting % set. I like being able to set the programs myself. i also have a JML Throttle Max installed that works very well with the SCT 93 tune.

I’m sure you’re going to love it! We have the same set up, except I’m using the PRX91 (west coast doesn’t get much 93 gasoline).

So I got my custom tune today and loaded it up. I was wondering why it doesnt let me set the rev limiter past 5100 and why cant I remove the speed limit? It seems that I can do whatever on the preloaded tunes but not the custom tune. I’d appreciate the help
