MPT Tune Officially out

Is anybody feeling a bit of harshness with down shifts?
Like I'd be driving 60 and then I'd lift my foot off the gas and then I feel the car is kinda slowing down with cuts.

I did send the logs to MPT and they said that's normal.

Hey fordguys550 how does your car shift at 7 rpm? I have mpt and it doesnt shift like that or pull that hard? I have 93 performance tune

Because that's when he shifts it.

How come your info screen doesn't have the vac/boost reading ?

Thats lower on my list...plus, the 16 dont show boost, just vacuum...which is lame...what if i want to boost it lol

for now I'm trying out their 87 prx tune and it feels fast too. also shifts at 7000 rpm. auto tranny.

Yes it comes on ..... Go to read dtc and its be like power delay or something like that and then just clear it and it's gone does no harm its just something about dropping a tune in it that sets off that code but just clear it and it'll be gone

Yes, you can try to remove it with the tuner, when I program my stang the engine check light I just drove it around and it went out.

There is an option on your tuner to clear TCD codes. Just plug it in and select it.

Yeah I know what you're talking about, noticed it on stock tune too though. Harsher on the MPT tune

Happened to me too, contacted MPT and they said that Ford trans skips the 2nd gear in downshifts.
So I asked them if they could make it not skip the 2nd in the tune and they did! And it's all fine now
