No, not moderators..MODIFICATIONS

its that time and I am ready to start modding the car. wife gave me an ok. (I sort of had to convince her and she still doesn't like it but oh well)

So my first mod is either going to be a Steeda CAI or the MBRP Race in aluminized with the 4.5 inch tips.

but now the real dilemma.. Which one do I buy first? I already spoke to Team Beefcake and was told the race is back ordered for a few weeks. but I really really really want to open the exhaust and really hear it. but would a CAI make more sense to get first?

I would get the cai and tune first. Then catback.

uh oh. were 1 for 1. idk if im going to tune it. I would like to hang onto my warranty for as long as I can.

get it to sound like a mustang first, u dont need that extra 30whp yet. besides, you're better off having the exhaust first before your intake/tune to complete the system.

im not going for power from the exhaust. im just trying to get the sound I want. I fear the race may be too loud, so im leaning toward the street system now.
I do plan on getting the steeda k brace and strut tower brace and possibly springs. if I don't get the steeda springs ill get the eibach springs.

there are plenty of threads regarding that act, however history shows that dealers screw you over time and time again. you dont hear of many success stories with getting dealers to cover the work on blown engines with aftermarket tunes/intakes etc.

just take a look at the ford focus ST and subaru WRX/STI forums for yourself if you dont believe it.
