So, 0726-17-02 0101 0101 014B = Remote Open Enable in my AB data.

The next line in my AB data is 0726-18-01 0101 0101 014B. Why couldn't that be Remote Close Disable?

I wonder if setting it to 0726-18-01 0000 0000 0046 would enable it?

17-01 is remote close, pending the correct data is in the drivers door module DDM 740.

18-01 is Mislock Horn... honks the horn if you attempt to walk away and lock the doors while a door is still opened

I have IDS and there isn't as much in there as you would think.
Typically the creators of FORScan add all the same programmable parameters in the drop down boxes that IDS has. There would be very few, if any, differences.

That reminds me... new IDS revision comes out today. Need to update... (every other Wednesday).

But his correction is right, I knew what he meant, and being its 1:30am and 4 hours sleep all day, i didnt catch that and just copied and pasted, but he is correct, it should be

BCM 726-28-02 0000 0000 0158

Fionic duly make the change in the data sheet please.

It was an example lol... just said change the middle section to 0000, not copy my line

Doesnt our GT Premiums lock automatically once you get out of the car?

I can confirm that this isn't a feature on our cars, and was disappointed to discover. All the GM products I've experienced with push button start has this and is configurable. My parent's 2012 SRX has this. Ford engineers make me say WTF from time to time.

Your vehicle has been designed with a feature that can help alert you if it senses a potential collision with the car in front of you.* This system uses sensors in the front of your car to detect slower vehicles traveling in the same direction, and warn you if you’re rapidly approaching. If this happens, a row of red lights on your windshield will flash, and you’ll hear an alarm.

If you don’t react and continue to get closer to the other vehicle, your car will pre-charge and increase brake assist sensitivity to provide full responsiveness when you brake, which may help you avoid an accident. Once your brakes have been pre-charged, even if you press them lightly, they’ll automatically apply a harder force to stop you quickly.

* This system is designed to be a supplementary driving aid. It is not intended to replace the driver’s attention, and judgment, or the need to apply the brakes. This system does NOT activate the brakes automatically. Failure to press the brake pedal to activate the brakes may result in a collision.
Warning system sensitivity

You can change the sensitivity on the warning system to one of three settings, by using the five-way control on your steering wheel:*

Scroll to Driver Assist > Collision Warning > Sensitivity
Select either High, Normal or Low
The most sensitive setting will detect stationary objects near your vehicle, while a lower setting may lead to fewer and later warnings.

* If collision warnings are perceived as being too frequent or disturbing then the warning sensitivity can be reduced, though the manufacturer recommends using the highest sensitivity setting where possible. Setting lower sensitivity would lead to fewer and later system warnings.
Blocked sensors

If a “blocked sensor” message appears in your vehicle’s information display, radar signals from the sensor have been obstructed.* When this issue occurs, vehicles in front of you can’t be detected, and the collision warning system won’t function.

Here are some possible causes for this message and suggested actions to restore warning system functionality:

*Sensors are located behind a fascia cover near the driver side of the lower grille.
Warning system exceptions

Due to the nature of radar technology, there may be certain circumstances in which your vehicle won’t provide a collision warning. These include:

Stationary vehicles or vehicles moving below 6 mph (10 km/h).
Pedestrians or objects in the roadway.
Oncoming vehicles in the same lane.
Severe weather conditions. (See "Blocked Sensors" section above.)
Debris build-up on the grille near the headlamps. (See "Blocked Sensors" section above.)
Small distance to vehicle ahead.
Steering wheel and pedal movements are large, i.e., very active driving style.

It doesn't turn off in the dash. It has sensitivity settings, currently set to "low"

In the meantime, maybe try pulling the plugs on those sensors?

I assume this becomes a real problem on a track.

I would start comparing this line with a same model year mustang that does not have that feature...

If successful, then would have to turn it off in the 720 IPC to get rid of an error message.

It is kind of funny... with all of this FORScan stuff... If you buy a used vehicle in a few months, who knows if any computer changes were made unless you reflash all modules to stock haha.

why would you want the car to lock by itself anytime you get out? too difficult to hit the top of the door handle?

It's just a convenience thing. I actually wish I could disable the sensor on the door handle. I end up touching it a lot when I'm detailing it. To each his own.
