I traded my 2016 for a 2024, so I wanted to start using the new 7G website, but the credentials I use here are not working over there, even though it says they should. When I tired registering like new it says the email address is already in use. No doubt, it's my email address. Any advice on...
I removed the GT350 tube (not that easy actually) and installed my stock tube and everyone was correct, it fit just fine. Not sure why CJ's site recommends this.
I checked my level a few times this week and it is still showing a tad high, just past the hash marks and the top hole, maybe a 1/4"...
So sounds like I should have just reused my original tube and not bothered with CJ's recommendation. If I have time today after work I'll see if I can swap these out. I'll let you know my results.
If you look up the covers on CJ's website, this tech tip is listed:
Tech Tip 2: For 2011-2017 5.0L Engines, Ford Performance recommends using a dipstick tube from the 2015-2020 5.2L GT350 or GT350R. Please see P/N: FR3Z-6754-B for the factory Ford component.

I had the same issue. I ordered mine from CJ Pony Parts and all that arrived were the covers, no bolts and no oil filler cap. It took a while but CJ was able to reach out to Ford and get the bolts and cap sent direct to me. I was able to do the job this weekend. Now I have a question about the...
My cam covers had a small leak, known issue for a 2016, but somehow I was not aware of the TSB, yadda yadda yadda I installed new aluminum cam covers from Ford Performance. Ordered from CJ Pony Parts, and it was recommended to also order the GT350 dipstick tube. So I did that and installed...
Has anyone had their expansion valve replaced? Mine is likely stuck open. I had it diagnosed while I was out of town when I first noticed the issue of AC not blowing cold enough. Not hot air, but for sure not cold. He hooked up his refill/collector machine and both high and low pressure was...
Updated mine last night. Took about an hour as the instructions said. I wasn't thrilled to idle my car for that long, but I guess it doesn't hurt anything really. My 32GB 2.0 flash drive worked fine for the install.
I can't believe I paid $109 for this bullshit, but here we are.
In conclusion:
1. A complete rip-off of a price
2. A complete pain in the ass to install, even if your dealer knows what's up
3. Mysteriously no longer available
Meh, guess it's still Android Auto for me. Maybe when I get my tax return next year, lol.
Grimmer did you ever get anywhere with this? I can't believe this is the way Ford handles GPS updates. I have Android Auto and Google Maps if and when I really need it, but I personally prefer using the native GPS. It can do split screen, and easy access to environment controls. Oh well can't...
Hey Chris,
I bought the $150 Sai Li Racing tune today. What's my next step? I recently installed a Borla S-Type cat back exhaust, AirRaid MXP CAI, and I have the SCT X4 Tuner. I uploaded the pre-loaded tune that came with it, and I've been running that on 91 octane for a few hundred miles.
I'd love to know where. I've been on every single menu item and never saw it. Couldn't find it in the manual either. I would have bet money this was an option I could control, but alas, no joy.
To be honest the only reason I bought that one was because that was what AngelDeath recommended and was confirmed working. I already had a Windows laptop with bluetooth, so it seemed like a no-brainer. I went and looked on the Forscan website and found this Q&A:
What OBD2 adapters are...
It looks hard to do at first, but once you start working through the steps it starts to make sense. Not having the stupid horn honk when I get out the car while running was well worth it.
Here is the thread you need:

I disabled the horn honk (same issue as you, but mailbox)
I enabled the fog lights to stay on when I switch to brights
I disabled the log lights from turning off when signaling
You'll have to invest in a...
