I usually keep my vehicles fairly close to stock, only adding a tune. But when I was data logging my ecostang I noticed the stock intercooler was terrible at keeping down intake temps, as many of you already know. 0-100 runs would result in intake temps climbing into the 190's and the ecm would start to pull timing at 150 degrees. I knew an intercooler had to be done. After doing some research I finally went with MMR due to its size, and when I put it next to the stock intercooler it was HUGE (Trump voice). My initial fear was loosing/not holding boost due to its size, I was wrong. With the same tune I had with the stock intercooler I did a couple data logs and held boost exactly like stock and intake temp stayed within 15 degrees of starting temp. Win/win:thumbsup: Then went with a tune to take advantage of the cooler intake, and was able to run a 12.5@110 on street tires with a bad 60ft. Overall would highly recommend the MMR intercooler.

Nice time... i was looking at the mmr intercooler, those that got it at the 350$ introduction price got a nice deal.

On another note check this out, a little off topic but....

Congrats and fantastic Job, this makes your ecoboost one of the quickest in the county - with just bolt ons and street tires !! Wow!

FFtec is running a special..$399 on their private label core intercooler kit, price is good through end of September.

I'm picking one up.
