So what are the modified oil pump specs compared to the OEM pump specs - max pressure and volume output?
These questions IDK the answers to. I changed out the stock due to the powdered metal process of the gears which is prone to failure, to MMRs billet gear design. This is more of an insurance item.

I'm wondering if anyone know how much are shops charging to install the oil pump and sprocket. When is this a must to install?

IDK, but maybe thru a google search you can find out the time Ford says it will take, this is what most shops go by and X the hrs. by their shop rate. This is one of those jobs where the work is way more intense than the part itself. It's a shame Ford doesn't offer this as an option. Even the CS (Coyote Stock) engine for NMRA doesn't come with the good pump, and racers have lost engines because of it.
And as far as when most others may have a better answer as I'm new to the Coyote, but what I gather is with the addition of a supercharger or in my case the higher rpms. I have a friend that's made 700+RWHP with a supercharger with the stock pump, but he knows he's flirting with danger, one thing that helps him is he doesn't race or beat on the car.

Do you replace the front timing cover 3 piece gasket set or did you re-use the gasket and dab some silicone at the edges of the mating surfaces?

Good question. I reused it, but take care in removing the front cove because that sealant that Ford uses doesn't want to let go, that rubber gasket get suck to the cover and the block at the same time....that's some really good stuff.

Did you use TA-30 or TA-31 sealant? I'm about to do this install

I tried looking on my phone but I can't find it. I know I got it off of Ford instructions. It comes in a tube like caulking for house windows but shorter, it's almost black in color and has a very short time frame once applied. I know this doesn't answer your question, I can find out after work. It was $ 20 some dollars.
