I agree with others. Late fall here, and I took car out when temp was about 50 deg F. I noticed a huge difference in traction. Tires felt like hard slick rubber and handling was a bit squirrely.

I feel that if anyone is asking about the PS4S and using their vehicle as a daily driver or even an occasional driver in an area where it gets cold and literally UNSUITABLE for the tire itself perhaps should reevaluate their choices on either vehicle or tire themselves.

Not exactly answering your question, but I got caught out with Pilot Super Sports in my GT350 once when it snowed. It really wasn't that big of a deal, but I'm used to driving RWD in the winter. I drove Fox Mustangs year round with no traction control up until 2011.

The tires didn't crack or anything. They were fine. You just have to be careful and go easy in the cold. If the car has a weather mode I encourage you to use it. I would also go with all seasons or actual snow tires if you plan to drive regularly in the cold.
