I thought some might find this interesting. IMO, it's about 10 years too high across the board.

Well, I am 54, so dead-on balls accurate for me.

(It's an industry term)

Others, as you say, could be ~10yrs off.

If they had a size chart, scaled at 1"/ 3"/ 5" ect,
then the various mdl Porsche owners could have easily been represented as well.

Interesting. I always figured that applied more to Ferrari and Lambo drivers than Porsche. But I've never known drivers of any of them.

All I see is early 20s to late 20s in my area. Teens in the ecos. Vettes are dead on. But then again it makes sense. I'm 41 & here in 6 years my home will be paid for, that would give me the room to trade in for a vette & a pair of new balance shoes.

I've been behind the wheel of a Mustang from age 17 to 64, so I imagine I have fallen in and out of the median age qualification at least a couple of times.

I just drive what I like.

Actually seems about right to me. Median is the midpoint, so exact same number of people younger and older than the median. Average age could very well be lower by about 10 years

I have owned 6 cars on that list and every one was purchased when I was older than what was shown for that car, except the Vette. My theory is most older guys like me didn't buy performance cars between 1973 and 1993 because there weren't any to buy. So, when they started making decent cars again we were already over 50.

That is interesting, it’s more about when men hit their financial peak/earning years.

it would be neat to see the next tier, vipers, zo6s, gtr’s … I wonder if those skew even older.

I bought my first Mustang at age 19 and I have had everything from Cuda's to Porsche's between the ages of 16 and 60. I have owned my current Mustang from 60 til today at almost 65. But I have never owned a Corvette.
