What's going on with the rear lights about the 50 sec mark of this video?

Before he brakes, the rear lights are doing something odd - I guess just some video artefact, but looked cool.
I believe that is because he is driving with the headlights on and the rear driving lights are on which are leds, for some reason when recorded LED's flicker.

Today on Whirlpool

Well today is off to a great start over on whirlpool!

Capture.webp

Before Chez had her nightcap, she must have flared up about the lack of some other 'critical features', and the fact that there were enough idiots still putting down deposits to purchase the mythical unicorn that is the Oz spec mustang.

Not known for passing up an opportunity to be a smart arse back, our resident HybridGT woke up this morning to see Chez's piss poor commentary and apparently "Trolled" her back, much to the disgust of the humble moderator.

In between all of this, a lone knight, who may or may not also be riding a pony, decided to throw an insult in someone's direction but once again the moderator decided to put out the fires and delete the comments before yours truly got to read them over in WA.

Happy Friday everybody!

To be fair, the mod hid some posts by Hybrid on the previous page because they were a waste of space :) (Him saying hello to his friend Edit)

Hahaha.... Just doing my civic duty

I forgot what that troll was saying, but it was more bitching about the lights.

How is this trolling exactly? I'll let the Mustang6G Australia community decide.

My response was basically:

A $400 fix on an incredibly awesome value car is hardly a deal breaker for anyone considering this car.

No one besides you is whinging everyday about what essentially is an aesthetic LIGHTING situation on a performance vehicle... that's easily fixable too!

No one is forcing you to order one anyway. Please go back into your Toyota... Or Bicycle. Bye

I screen-shotted (below) all his/her posts in the Mustang thread. EVERY single one was daily bitching and crying.

She sounds like a disgruntled and jealous Veloster owner

Don't tell her that it has 3 doors, in her eyes her '2 door sports car' is perfect ;)

Not to mention the people complaining about the "lack of doors" and how the Falcon is better lol

I am cancelling my Mustang order as I found out today from these reviews that there are slight issues with the cupholders and that the parking brake is on the wrong side.

In all seriousness, anyone who brings liquids inside the cabin of any of my car, even the really crappy one, is told to drink it up immediately OUTSIDE the vehicle. I once got stuck with a hire car for 2 weeks that had a smell of burnt milky coffee about it. Vile.

As for parking brake issue, I think every car I've had except an HQ one-tonner has the parking brake in that spot. Not a big deal. One car I have is a hideous locally-made VP Commodore used for shopping trolley duties and general running about and it has the parking break on the 'wrong' side.

And guess where it is on the LHD '67 Mustang? You have to use your left hand (it's dash mounted so not entirely comparable). So Mustang tradition is alive in Australia.

Now, no DRLs where they should be, that's an issue ... actually never had a car with DRLs, so I'm probably whinging for nothing about that.

Every time Ford Aus posts on FaceBook, a bunch of Falcon loving trolls come out and say something like "drop $15k on an XR8 and it'll leave the Mustang for dead".

I'm all for enthusiasm about the Falcon, but, shit, it's the wrong place for it, and it's too late!

It was brought to my attention on the caradvice facebook post that the mustang will in fact "not make my dick bigger".

was anyone informed of this by their dealer??

this surely must be the only reason we have all forked out 60 odd grand...

Sat in a GT last week and to be honest I didnt have any issues with the cupholders/handbrake - mind you I had the seat further back and I was comfortably resting on the arm rest. Compared to the 300c this stuff appears to be further forward.
