Hi mate.
Basically I am going to do a standard drl retrofit for 450. That will include supply and install of your drls. They Coke from diode dynamics, are colour adjustable, turn into blinkers, and are sequential ( looks like the blinker moves through your drls, it's only really tech found in high level audis. ) and of course, I will be offering other services such as matching halos around your projector, devil eyes, projector upgrades ect.

Hi and welcome to the fun palace.

Do you have a friend/contact in Perth who will be doing this? Or recommend a shop I can approach? I don't wanna be sending lights anywhere and if i can drive in and drive out with the mod, that'd be preferred.

Thanks

The DRL with RGBW+Amber costs more btw.

Here's a few questions (that you've already told me via FB) but anyway, just for the other people here:

1) How long is the process?
2) What's the whole process entail/require etc?

I think it's only about $60 more.
So worth it in my opinion!
1) to be completely honest I'm not sure, but based on experience it should take 1-2 days for me to complete the basic install as I only work a couple hours an arvo.
2) I receive your lights. I then use a heat gun to soften the glue and split the lens.
Cut and install the drl strips, make sure the wiring is tidy. Then reseal with new butyl rubber and give everything a good clean

From my responses, my base will be $450 supplied and installed yes. The full Amber turn signal ones with be $550, but once again I believe it's worth while. I do plenty of cars and people can't believe how much the from end changes with intelligent lighting

Hi Woody,

I am mainly interested in getting the tri bar DRL's back, is the sequential blinker legal in NSW? I am guessing you could leave that part out and just use them as DRL's otherwise.

Question more for the forum than for you, Woody (P.S. Welcome!), but assuming DRLs in the headlights, what to do with the other DRLs? (Sorry, being a noob, I have no idea what they do on the US cars :)

Leave them there disconnected? Leave them there connected (double DRLs)? Become indicators?

I think a lot of it will be wait and see.
Not sure if the bcm will register if the factory drl have been removed (read blown). If so take the feed from here, and resistance to fool it.
If not happy days, again feed from here, or tap into power on start in the fusebox.

Me personally, if bcm isnt fooled I will keep both and switch them over if needed.

Both on would look weird, blinkering is an option, up to individual preference
