It was brought to my attention on the caradvice facebook post that the mustang will in fact "not make my dick bigger".

was anyone informed of this by their dealer??

this surely must be the only reason we have all forked out 60 odd grand...
Wait what!!!!! FFS, I was promised.

This was the only reason my wife agreed to the purchase. I hope nobody tells her that it's not true.

I knew I should have got a F350 or Porsche....lol

A mustang may not make it bigger but it may get it touched more :eyebulge:

Word on the street is the PNS XTNDR function has been disabled for aussie drivers as we are well endowed compared to our overseas brothers - but for those who feel they are lacking in this department can have this reactivated at a cost :D:D:D:D

PS on this current topic - had a 2001 Saleen Mustang pull up next to me yesterday and mighty impressed by the supercharger and exhaust - Betchya that could pull some chickies

It's pretty much the norm for certain people to criticise what they can't have.

Then you also get the haters that say the S550 isn't a real mustang and post pics of their fake home made 1960s replicas.

Right... Because I'd rather be driving that lol

Typical Whingepool behaviour - had the same crap with the 300C with numpties trying to bag it at every opportunity.

Yes. What bullshit. Will one day have a '67 (nothing too special, just a C-code) and a '16, '17, '18 or '23 or whatever year it is when it comes.

What do you expect a modern Mustang to look like? I like old and new. A tweaked up '67 is a bit hard to live with everyday, and would certainly cost heaps to run (got 4-barrell carb and sucks juice), and isn't all that safe anyway. And being LHD not practical to overtake on a single-lane roadway unless you have a co-pilot to tell you it's safe, and even then it's a bit scary/hairy.

Of course the S550 is a real Mustang.

On the not a 'real' Mustang crap, I know a bloke who is obsessed with Corvettes. Has had heaps of them. Currently has a white '66 (or '67?) with 427 AND a brand-new white one in LHD, registered as an NZ car (seems like the 30-year rule doesn't apply there). It has to go back to NZ every 2 years or some crap. It's currently in a container going back to NZ so that he and wife can have a driving holiday (they have property there). So plenty of enthusiasts have the old and new if they can afford them.

Purists will say that mustangs are original only once. As soon as you paint it - then it has been restored. Some owners look down on restomods preferring matching numbers etc. Others search high and low for date correct parts etc.

I believe many classic owners have bought the new model too. Like MC, I will have both and enjoy them for what they are - Mustangs!

Latest Gonzo on the other site has expressed disappointment that the real life mustang doesn't look as good as it does on the website :doh::doh:

Drive review

http://www.drive.com.au/new-car-reviews/2016-ford-mustang-gt-first-drive-review-20160120-gmajci.html

This is strange

"We were annoyed by a clear view of the rear edge of a test car's bonnet that had been chipped and scratched by the car's windscreen wipers..."

Can any owners confirm if the wipers are a bit close???
There was a wiper issue, don't know exactly what it was but apparently a simple fix at the dealer. When they are running the lowest point they reach is higher than when they are turned off. When you switch them off completely they drop back down a few mm. I picked mine up in the pouring rain an noticed them drop down when I went from intermittent to off.
