the exhaust is dented in several places, covered in scratches, shipped by crazies with no idea how the shipping and packaging process works...that's the only way I can explain it.

They literally threw all pieces in a box and said yolo. Surprise mbrp, that doesn't work. Going to be getting in touch with lethal performance and see what my options are. Will post pics shortly.

the exhaust sounds amazing but i would NOT order from them until they clarify that their packaging methods have been rectified and they go back to using their foam inserts which many users reported receiving undamaged exhausts with.

UPDATE: it looks like MBRP is replacing parts as needed, please contact them directly or contact the vendor you purchased the parts from. they will be replacing both of my scratched and dented mufflers, I told them not to worry about the slight bend on the h pipe.

glad to see them step up and do right by the customers because I love the way this exhaust sounds and didn't want to have to change to something else.

i've been told they have adjusted their packaging for future orders and this shouldn't happen again.

Sucks man, hopefully you get it straightened out. I remember reading this happening to other members.

Mildly flabbergasted right now. This is without a doubt the shittiest looking exhaust I have ever seen made by a company and sold online. It is dented in several places, covered in scratches, shipped by a moronic 10 yr old with no idea how the shipping and packaging process works...that's the only way I can explain it.

I guess there is a reason why they are so cheap. Despite sounding great you will be ashamed to install this exhaust on your car. I can't imagine having had ordered the stainless exhaust and seeing it arrive like this. They literally threw all pieces in a box and said yolo. Surprise mbrp, that doesn't work. Going to be getting in touch with lethal performance and see what my options are. Will post pics shortly.
Could you specify as to how much you did actually pay? I think we all have experienced the old adage "You get what you pay for" but to receive a unit in such condition? I'm glad that you're contacting them through their distributor and hope you get some satisfaction!

Getting what you paid for is NOT the case. I paid under 500 for my downpipe back exhaust on my 135i and received an aluminized exhaust that was shipped and made with care by Berk racing. This exhaust was 570 shipped, and while that is cheap compared to other exhausts on the market, they didn't ship cj pony parts a pile of crap like this to review. Just because the materials are cheaper. It shouldn't mean they ship piles of crap out of their warehouse. Hell on my mazdaspeed 3 I had a full set including downpipes for 380 bucks from a freaking eBay vendor in 409 stainless and it was fucking perfect. There's NO excuse for this.

File a claim with UPS? I was thinking about ordering it, guess not, don't want to deal with the trouble.

All your problems seem to be with the shipping of the exhaust. While this is obviously an issue since several people have posted about it today it's easy for the company to correct.

Saying "worst exhaust I have ever seen" isn't really fair, when it's really the worst exhaust packaging you've seen. Your title makes it sound like the system is made of tin foil.

MBRP aluminized on my FoST was great, perfect finish and great fitment, awesome sound.

Why are you immediately bashing the company rather than contacting either the shipper if they damaged it, or the vendor you purchased from? Do you really think yelling about it on a forum will be the magic fix? Seems like a waste of time when you could be working on fixing the problem.

It was drop shipped via mbrp. Nothing to do with lethal performance. Literally all the pieces were thrown together randomly in a cardboard box. Also the pipes are F***d up in several locations including between the h pipe which would be impossible to be caused by the shipper. If you place a glass vase in an empty cardboard box and it arrives broken to the buyer, you don't blame the shipping company, you blame yourself.

Not business hours on a Friday and multiple people have had this same problem within the last few days. Mbrp is 100% at fault here. Just warning people so no one buys it this weekend

I just got mine yesterday and it is beat to hell , one muffler had 6 big dents , H pipe was crushed on one end ...Packing was the worst I have seen , one end of the box was blown open.. I got mine from Beefcake and they are taking care of the problem ... It wasn't Beefcakes fault at all , It was whoever packed it and UPS handling it that caused the problem ..:paddle:

It's 100% the manufacturer's fault if it wasn't packed well and had no foam or cardboard. UPS isn't the best but thousands of packages come intact if packaged correctly.

My ARH system came wrapped in a ton of cardboard and bubble paper. Even moving the box around and tipping it on it's side to unpack, you couldn't hear anything clunking together or moving around.

I agree it's the manufacturer's fault... But UPS is nuts with packages , I had UPS guy drive up to my house and toss a 1100.00 Holley HP 1150 Carb in my front yard and drive off ... Its 125 feet to my house from where he left it .. I guess he didn't want to do any walking that day .. ;)

It is the manufacturers fault for packaging although most exhausts I've ordered have been a little scratched because they poke through the box but nothing extreme. I expected that with my stainless works but I gotta admit the packaging was top notch.
