Are you adding a spoiler ?
Probably not. The PP1 spoiler isn't functional, so I didn't see a point to leaving it (I'm not a big fan of the look).

I bought my car and then joined the forum so I wouldn’t have known about bbq and ticks

I’m still paying my 16 off so no new Mustang for me and I will say the bbq tick does scare me. If I had known I’d probably look at different cars. I can’t buy a $40k + car with noises like I’ve heard here on this forum.

I would never buy. The tick has been proven to effect 75% of new mustangs. With a 50% engine replacement ratio.

Are you sure it's not functional? The new GT350 spoiler is similar in shape to it.

Not to be a jerk, but I can’t tell if you’re being facetious or serious.

If Ford builds 15,000 2019 Mustang GT’s, 5,625 are going to have their engines replaced?

I am with you on this. Mine has the tick, which has turned into a knock, the rattle and now pings. It's been at the dealer 2 weeks and their conclusion is that it's all normal. I like the car, but the engine sound is so bad that when others comment what is that sound, it's not good. Knowing the issues of ticking, knocking, broken shift forks, etc. I would not buy one. And the bad news is that you can't pick and choose as brand new mine did not make these noises- they developed after 2K miles.

Yup. The PP2 spoiler is functional, as is the GT350. The PP1 is for show only. I'd have left it on if it did something.

I read all the stuff about ticking and rattling before I placed my order. Continued to read while I waited for delivery. Got the car, am loving every second of it. Still read about all the issues, it's interesting to keep up on. But until I have issues I am just enjoying my car.

Go back and look carefully. Ford gives explicit information on the forces from the PP2 splitter / spoiler set, but nowhere will you find Ford saying that the PP1 spoiler has any effect.

https://media.ford.com/content/ford.../new-mustang-gt-performance-pack-level-2.html
"Using the splitter from the famed Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca as a benchmark, Mustang engineers attached the piece to the underside of the front to fan out as much as 3 inches around the corners of the Mustang GT. It creates about 24 pounds of downforce at 80 mph, helping give the car its exceptional grip. To balance the downforce, a subtle, redesigned rear spoiler stretches across the decklid."

Kona blue is nice I am looking at a velocity blue with the automatic transmission just the base model
Definitely do VB. I have so many people come up to me to say how awesome the color is, and that includes mustang people who wish they would have gotten VB. Pictures really cannot come close to doing the color justice, but here is one anyway. I had no issues buying my 19, even hearing about the tick issues. I trust my dealer and warranty if I run in to issues. So far so good.
