Maybe a new GT

Didn't stop me from buying this one today.

Kona Blue GT with black interior, manual transmission, premium plus, performance package 1, MagneRide, Active Exhaust, Safe & Smart, nickel wheels, spoiler delete, and the B&O sound system. 4.5 miles on the odometer when it came off the truck this morning. We added a few to that after I got to the dealership.

Paperwork's done, but with prep and registration (because you need to get real plates from the registry in MA), I won't be picking it up until Thursday. And since it's supposed to snow (but quickly melt) tomorrow, I'm good with that.

With all those cars over the years, hope you managed to keep a green plate (MA) so you don’t have to put one on the nose.

Sadly, no. The one that had the green plate was totalled while parked, and the plate got turned in during the 6 week kerfuffle with the driver's insurance company.

Go back and look carefully. Ford gives explicit information on the forces from the PP2 splitter / spoiler set, but nowhere will you find Ford saying that the PP1 spoiler has any effect.

Ah. You cannot document your claim of "Ford says otherwise" regarding the lack of effect of the PP1 spoiler. When asked to do so, you first do the "Wanna bet a $100?" nonsense, then the "Do your own homework" dodge, which translates to "I can't find anything."

So, you've got nothing, past really wanting the wing on the back of your car to be something other that cosmetic. Sorry to have to be the one to tell you, but it's all show, no go.

I would never buy. The tick has been proven to effect 75% of new mustangs. With a 50% engine replacement ratio.

Hard numbers are PP2 information only, don't mix them into the PP1. Claims on the PP1 were never stated definitively. Here is the chief engineer stating "aero-neutral to the body of the car":



A little bit later he is careful to not say it doesn't add any downforce. "Don't want to create too much downforce".

Now the other two can stop clogging the thread with their bullshit.
