Since about 2014, F1 runs totally bespoke, smaller-cube engines running high boost and turning insane RPMs....not remotely in the same ballpark. NA is history in F1, IIRC.
yep, but 2008-2013 was NA 2.4L V8 spinning 18+k

What's the highest HP attainable without going forced induction?

My friend sent me this video of a mustang supposedly making 850 HP while staying NA.

Seems like he's talking out of his ass but my friend said it's feasible.

We offer some options for 600whp N/A applications but that all depends on where the budget lies. Short block, heads, headers, etc... It ends up being more cost effective for a power adder to reach the same goals. Although we don't shy away from the N/A builds!!

The most I've seen on all these sites is around that 450-460 mark RWHP without head or cam work. Seems like you'd max out 500-525 or so once you port the heads and new cam. Without adding forced induction, you could probably push it a bit more with a nitrous shot. Not sure how "safe" that would be without some more heavy duty internal mods, though.

I'm no expert, but I play one on the internet. Made sense to me. :)

Jon Maase took a 4.6L Mod Motor punched it out to 6.7L and made 815hp/617ft.lbs. at 11.5:1 on VP100 octane in the 2013 Engine Masters.
I would have to say that 5.0L Coyote would not do that on the same gas and still be able to call it a Coyote.
