Don't know if this will actually help anyone but I found this video:
If I did not want a performace car this helps.. What about that 435 HP shifting? Just saying

That's what I figured. Most people are going to want to shift fast, it's the nature of these cars, but this would at least help alleviate the problem for now.

Got my Steeda differential bushing kit installed today...and I am beyond happy!

I decided to go with the red "Street" bushings because I was afraid of NVH and I'd say the thud is 95% gone. It is at a point that I feel like if the car had come this way from the factory, I'd have never even noticed it.

Such a joy to drive now and not hear that damn noise! I really think each car must do it to a different degree and mine was particularly bad because I just can't imagine anyone accepting that sound in a car otherwise so nice.

A HUGE shout out and thanks to JewishThunder for recommending the BMR kit. I'm sure that with that kit or the Steeda aluminum bushings the sound would be 100% eliminated but I'm completely happy with it now and with the red Steeda's there is ZERO added NVH.

Don't believe those that say you'll have to live with that awful sound. You don't. ;)

Haven't tested out the wheel hop but if that's better then that's just icing on the cake!

Will do, David. It's cold enough today that these Pirelli's won't hook enough to hop!

It's interesting though, shifts are more positive now. I could feel a difference with the shifter the moment I got in and put it in first. Really noticeable on the 2-3 shift.

Very happy with this product. Thanks!

I am not sure it's a cure all, but it will help by tightening up the driveline. I do believe you will be exchanging one noise for another?
But better performance

With all the mods. you have done to your car I would be more worried if it didn't make noise...:) Lot of performance parts on that car...:hail:
I am convinced that with a few mods. the THUD noise will go away, but you may get different noises from mo better parts..
Ford had to keep the cost down and keep it comfortable enough not to feel like a race car for those that drive slow..
Me? I will take the noise as long as it performs better..:ford:

I don't have the thud, I have clunking when on and off the throttle. Drive line lash, if I take the drive shaft out u can rotate the diff back and for 3.4 inch.

I have the exact same thing... ? + Thud.... Then back to the Diff. being the issue? Wonder if there is a way to tighten it up? Do you have the Diff. Performance bushing's in your car?
