I know a lot of people on the forum are actually changing your own oil but for those who are getting your vehicle maintained at the dealership, have you bought prepaid maintenance or are you paying as you go? I know for sure I wouldn't have the time to DIY the oil changes and maintain a high performance vehicle myself and I'd rather have someone that knows what they are doing maintain my vehicle. I've been shopping prepaid maintenance directly from Ford corporate but I've been getting ridiculous quotes. 5 yrs / 60k miles for around $2300 at 5k mile interval which would be 12 visits $191 per visit basically.. I was trying to see if any of you guys have bought it for cheaper and if so, where did you buy it from?

Read the Post "Oil Change...why I can't trust the dealer." You should find the time to do your own oil changes. Depending on the miles you drive/yr, it's 2-3 hrs out of your life per year. My 1st one took 1-1/2 hrs, the next will take less.

I was in the same mindset as you. Too much hassle to do yourself. But I want to change the oil regularly. The motorcraft 5-50 synthetic is expensive as well. Try floodfordesp.com
I bought mine last year. 8 years-60,000 miles, oil change every 5k, full synthetic oil option. $1,595. Also covers brake pads and wiper blades. I’ve already had one pad change. Can’t pass that up. I’d also look into one of their extended warranties. Great to have protection at reasonable prices. Hope this is what you were looking for.
Have you been using the oil change options with your local dealer yet? Additional to your oil changes, I wanted this plan because of the multi point inspections + brake pads liners / spark plugs and specially the clutch discs. Doing my own oil changes, it will require me to start buying additional tools where I don't even have a place to store in the first place but additional cost on those parts as well. Then inspections of the vehicles which I would have NO idea on what I would be looking at. And most importantly, I'd like to have the vehicle serviced at the dealer so if ANYTHING happens to the vehicle, I can claim warranty and have them pay for it....

Thank you so much for the website. I really appreciate it.

I paid around $1800 for my 8yr/60k/5k interval plan through Flood Ford. I bought specifically for the pads and clutch. Apparently it also covers the brake discs, although I can't find the sheet that says it at the moment.

I thought they just cover the pads and not the disc.

Yea, it's not on the brochure that you first see. I found a more comprehensive list that was probably on my old laptop....

Checked with my service advisor who's been there a few years and knowledgeable. When I asked him about rotors, his reply was an immediate yes. Apparently if you burn through brake pads every week, it's still covered under the premium maintenance plan.

Oh wow that's another reason why I should invest into it... I would probably go for the 6 year one and call it a day.
