I would hate to be living in NE (again) with a boosted Mustang. Especially when I can run DR's all year long :)
Its way better than Texas IMO. Safer, better roads, more e85, overall better climate. Only reason id move back is if i had to take care of my parents.

Lol. Good luck.

Modifying to modify is fine, just expensive.
So with the amount of suspension parts i have, oem controller and shock/struts should be more than enough? Even boosted?

Gt350R/500/Mach1 dampers are the same.
I dont wanna build another cookie cutter car.
And yet you want to do no work. Buy the Steeda controller and pretend it's the best possible result.

And if you do put a gratuitous 200lbs under the hood so you can no longer take any curves, then you can get the mag controller from a 500 from the junk yard and plug it in.

I'm currently debating between keeping OEM PP1 springs or switching to FP springs or Steeda Dual rate magneride springs.
Put the bmr front sp084 or the duals up front. Leave the rears as is or put 800s in.

They work, but they definitely require lots of free time to dial in. Still better than having a tune specifically built to Steeda's test pilots.
Yeah I gotta wonder how twisted the tuning might be if your test track is Daytona and Sebring. Both horrible places to try for a " universal" tune.

Now road Atlanta, Birmingham or even Carolina Motorsports are bound to yield more uniform results.

I have all of Steeda's handling catalog minus CC plates.
If you can't get decent camber and toe settings you've wasted a good chunk of money.

You seem like a shoot first, aim later kind of guy. If you want a package that's VERY well sorted from factory it's spelled Camaro ZL1 or SS/1LE.

Ford SUCKS at suspension in general and can't hold a candle to GM's command of Magride tuning.

Yes and they have about twice the damping force as the normal Magneride dampers. The struts match a stiffer spring package in the front with the stock VDM very good, IMO. I bet the rear works well, too, even with the stock rate. It just adds damping everywhere, which is where it needs it.

Changing to the GT500 VDM wouldn't help you because of the damper difference. The struts/sucks are a much bigger deal than the VDM.

Unfortunately, the DSC is about 85% of a great idea.

It was fun and all, but just put Ohlins on it and be done. If you can't get Ohlins, then at least use their spring philosophy instead of Steeda's bullshit.

What do you mean "i don't wanna do any work"? I live literally in the middle of nowhere. Nearest track is 6 hours away from me. I work 5-6 days out of the week where I'm not even home. I don't have time to sit on forums all day like a kid sitting at home playing CoD. I have ideas, i ask questions, only for lowlife pricks like you to just attack everything everyone says. Absolute loser.

Many people run low boost through PD blowers and have good results. Im not building a track car. Why would i build a track car when the closest track is 6 hours away?

Id buy a corvette way before a camaro. Crap interior, no visibility whatsoever.

My plan is about -1.4 to -1.6 degrees in the front. Worked well for me in the past, no need to change it. Plus oll have gt350 style fenders so i don't need to run a whole lot of camber.

You don't want to spend time figuring out the dsc and how to tune it. And have no place to actually test your changes.

Easy with the chip on the shoulder.

Replace the dampers and try your current vdm like Teelew said. If you want more buy the Steeda, or crack the books on the DSC.

Dude. -2.3 or more up front or go home. 1.6 is the bare minimum.

I'm sure you can find some autocross nearby.
