Everyone seems pretty excited about the FP powerpacks. But adding more power to this car, imho, is not nearly as effective as fixing the goddamn boaty suspension. Even the $200 BMR lockout kit makes significant strides in this regard.

So my question is whether you think FP would release a gt350-styled magnaride upgrade for the S550, or whether it could be installed aftermarket? Obviously, it's pretty simple to swap out the suspension components. But the real issue is the suspension's controller. I doubt that the S550's ECU has the components necessary to control the active suspension.

I have a '15 GT PP, and have also driven a trackpack '16 GT350. Up to about 6000 rpm, the power difference isn't really that noticeable (the sound is an entirely different story though). But the handling... The GT350 is sooo planted. It'd be nice to have a taste of that in the GT.

It would be great if Ford offered magnaride or some other adaptive suspension, but I think it is highly unlikely for them to offer it as an aftermarket upgrade.

I think it is very likely that they will offer it as a factory option in 2018, when the cars get a refresh.
