Made a garage clock

About 6 to 8 months ago I bought a vintage style wall art from ebay and then a clock kit with hands. And turned the wall art into a clock. I thought I would share it with you DIY guys. Total cost was about 40 bucks.

Looks like it was made that way and for way more than $40! Well done! Is the sign metal?

Yes it is. I was looking for a old gas or "gulf" sign but came across this one. Ebay has tons of different garage plaques. Just use your imagination. It took me all of 30 mins to drill and install the battery clock pieces which included painting the hands the color of my choice.

There are a ton of those metal signs at my local Hobby Lobby, including 'gulf' ones, so check it out, if interested . I'm not into that, but almost bought a few, since my wife was taking too long with her crap. Ha ha.

Do you have a link to that eBay wall art, or at least a good search phrase? I think your choice was perfect!

I used the words Ford wall art, mustang wall art and garage wall art. I have made about 5 of them for friends and family. I even got the clack from ebay u der battery clock hardware

Excellent.itd be cool if you used a pendulum clock and added. A mini mustang or Ford to the pendulum swing to get some motion

I wish I took a photo of one I did. It was a Ford Racing o e with a small clock located on the "F"
