I think the bigger, more important question on being a real driver or not is....

‘Are you going to track it or daily drive it or just wash it and park it in your garage and look at it.’

There’s the question folks.

The advantage of the stick over the auto is that you can just jam 'er into 1 or 2 or3 and give her the beans.

Manual may very well soon become a dying breed, cherrish it while it's still here, just like the V8 5.0. Who knows what the future holds, but it probably won't be favourable due to ecological catastrophy slowly kicking into second gear, pun intended. Hybrids, full electric or hydrogen cars, self-driving cars, restrictions upon restrictions... At least we'll have these veterans one day :) If manual makes your ride more enjoyable, then go on and enjoy it. Us who prefer automatic will nodoubtebly enjoy our rides too, even with the choice to shift manually  And that's how it should be.

You can more or less do that with the A10 as well.

If you quickly dab the throttle the gearbox will jump down to the lowest gear possible and hold for a while (if you switch over to manual, you can keep it there), not speaking of a kick-down :p

Nah, not really the same Mazman .)
I like dinosaurs so getting the Tremec until the manuals die completely soon

My normal car from A to B is automatic so the choice was very easy this time (aswell)

- Whatever transmission A10 or M6 you choose for your Mustang - IT is a fantastic car! =)

Standards are akin to guys standing trying to hit the center of the bowl when they take a #1. A lot of guys today get the auto just like they sit to take a #1. :>)

That has a dual purpose, also so they can stare at their phones for 20 minutes. 🤢

It is obvious why the manual transmissions are selected over the auto. The 10 speed auto can be had on the Mustang GT PP. But, the Tremec cannot. The Mach 1 is really the Shelby GT350 replacement which was only available in a stick in my way of thinking.
