Reading through the comments makes me wonder what role the roads around the country play in the tramlining issue.

I'm running a set of Mach 1 SC2s on OEM PP2 wheels and have experienced minimal amounts of tramlining. Very slight toe-in in the front and -1.7 degrees of front camber.

Similar here in NH. Upgraded to HP rims with PS4S and alignment at -1.7 deg camber and 0.5 deg toe in, and as expected no tramlining. Went to the HP SC2s with same alignment and still no tramlining.

I just replaced the Sport Cup 2s with Pilot Sport 4ss. Almost no tramlining now. Feels much better on the street and freeways.

Best money I’ve spent in years….Mach 1 and then 4’s after 900 miles.
Similar boat here, though I pulled mine at 700. What are you going to do with your cup2s?

I have 120 miles on the car currently. I am debating if I should have PS4S installed this weekend or if I should just wear out the Cup 2s? I wonder how much you can sell them used with less than 500 miles.

PS this is my daily driver.

You may need to get the alignment checked.
drives fine, its the grooved under construction roads that are the issue.
I remember vipers did the same thing, its largely a product of wide grippy tires wanting to grab uneven terrain.

The roads in SoCal suck. My M1 HP tramlines sometimes but it's hard to tell between the pot holes and just shitty uneven road surfaces. Hell, my rear end steps out (like the old solid axle fox body's) on transition ramps. Love the Cup 2 tires but I'm coming from a Honda minivan.
